Search Engine Optimization – Made Simple

Google returns more than 240 Million search results in the US every day. If you are trying to connect with your audience, optimizing your ranking in search results is an important component of your marketing and promotion plan. SEO techniques will help you structure your content so that the content is easy to find when someone searches for what you have to offer.

Search Engine Optimization is the process of structuring content so your audience can easily find and use your published information.

Successful SEO depends on your ability to intelligently apply the principles of good structured information design. SEO isn’t something you do to search engines; SEO is what you do to your content so that the content is accessible and useful for real users.

SEO is a process that is never finished. You must intentionally incorporate SEO into your publishing workflow. SEO is not an afterthought or something you can “add” to a site as a last step.

Good SEO begins the moment you decide that you want to publish.

SEO is a service you provide your audience and a way for you to measure how well you are serving your audience.

SEO is only useful if you have good content. SEO does not put lipstick on a pig. Delivering good original content from trusted sources is the work of search engine companies like Google and Yahoo! Search engines do not serve their clients by delivering mediocre or misleading content. If you do not have good content, no amount of SEO work will build long-term value.

There are two ways information can appear on the Search Engine Result Page (SERP).

Sponsored (Paid) Results

Note that these results are clearly labeled “Sponsored.” Google makes the bulk of its revenue through these paid search results. SEO does not address getting your content to appear in sponsored (paid) search results.

The other category of search results is the natural or organic search result.

SEO is the process of getting your content to appear near the top of the natural search result list when someone searches for the kind of information that you have published.

80% of users click on one of the first three results. Obviously, your ability to bring in traffic from search depends on getting your content near the top of the SERP when people search for information that you have to present.

Search works. People generally do find content relevant to the search request. From Google’s point of view, delivering excellent search results is the crown jewel of the company. Google is a great resource for enhancing your content so that your content can correctly match the appropriate search. Google’s engineers are talented and very motivated to spot and stop any attempt to game the system. Google works hard to protect its brand and make search ever better. The best way to benefit from search is to follow the principles of good SEO that are publicly available and promoted by Google.

As your SEO plan expands and matures you may choose to use paid search to help grow your traffic. Paid search is logical part of a marketing campaign but has no direct impact on your position in the organic search results.

Keywords, Crawling and Indexing

Keywords

In order to optimize your information for search, you need to understand how people search. The average number of words people type into the search field is 3.1. Those three words are key to users finding your content. These keywords are the way you connect with your audience.

Google takes the input of those three words and returns—frequently thousands, sometimes millions—of search results. Only 10 of these results appear on the first SERP. 80% of the users click one of the first three results.

Through direct observation of many billion searches and constant research and testing Google has a highly refined formula for delivering the best search results based on the three words entered by the user. Google’s formula for search relevancy is based on more than 200 factors. The exact formula for displaying search results is Google’s “Secret Sauce” and is not published. Google does provide extensive guidance that will help you make it your content “findable.”

This tutorial focuses on Google’s recommendations. Google had 64.9% of the search market in September 2009. The techniques presented here will also improve your “findability” in other search engines.

If you are publishing information on the web and want to reach the audience that would be interested in your content, Google Webmaster Tools is a primary resource. All of the tools and resources at the Google Webmaster site are free.

Crawling

Google uses a “huge set” of computers to crawl billions of web pages. The program that does the crawling is called the Googlebot. Other search engines have similar programs generically called bots, robots or spiders.

The Googlebot uses web page URLs generated from previous crawls and new links found in the current crawl. One of the easiest and best ways to get your site found and thoroughly indexed is to provide a Sitemap.

Sitemaps do not directly impact your place in search results. Sitemaps put information about how to search your site and what has changed on your site in one place. Microsoft and Yahoo! both officially support the Open Sitemap standard.

Google does not provide a tool for generating sitemaps. One of the free (for sites with fewer than 500 pages) tools for generating sitemaps is at xml-sitemaps.com.

Indexing

The googlebot reads and completely analyzes the content of your web site. The number and location of keywords, the relationship between words, links, images and image titles and captions all have an impact. This index of your site and the analysis of links coming into your site are the major factors in where your site appears in the natural search results in the SERPS.

Developing SEO is a process. As you go through your analysis you will continually improve your understanding of how visitors search for and find the information you have published. To improve your chances of ranking high naturally and getting your content found we highly recommend using a specialized SEO tool like SENuke to get your website indexed and ranked high in Google!

SEO Link Building: The Four Essential Elements to Focus On

Consider this your Link Building 101 article about what link building is and the basics on how to do it. When it comes to SEO (Search Engine Optimization), obtaining incoming links still plays one of the most important roles. Links from other sites to your site(s) represent one way for the search engines to determine that your information is reputable and trustworthy. If others are linking to your site, then it must be good, right?

So, how can you build good links to your own site? There are literally hundreds of ways to do this. But it all starts with quality. Whatever information or services you are offering on your website must be valuable to visitors. This will insure that you gain links organically because of your great content as you use other techniques to push the linking along a little bit. And quality includes being grammatically correct as well. One of the easiest ways to diminish your credibility is to fill up your site with spelling, punctuation and grammar errors. If you aren’t all that brushed up on your grammar, get the help of someone who is.

Make your site personal if it fits the look and feel you want to achieve. Most people like to know who they are dealing with, even if it’s on the web. It helps to put a picture and a relatively descriptive “About” or “Bio” page in your content.

Write some content with specific numbers in the titles like “10 quick ways to. . .”, “20 tips on…”. People love this kind of information and lists like these are great resources to link to from other types of articles.

Make a list of experts in your field. If you create a list and explanation along with each one, these people might actually link over to you from their well-established sites.

Use Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising. This is great way to get very targeted links to your site. You choose what you want them to be because you choose the keywords that you are advertising.

Another tried and true method of link building 101 is to submit your site to the web directories that allow free submissions. Of course you can submit your site to paid directories as well but again, you need to make sure that they are of high quality and updated.

And here are some of the easiest ways to get links to your website. Ask and answer questions on Yahoo Answers or Google Groups or post a free ad on Craigslist. Your comment will link to your website or blog. These are all free and all fairly quick and easy.

Be social. By commenting on other people’s blogs or websites, you get more attention drawn to your own.

One of the main things to avoid when building your links is spam. Don’t be over-promotional or over-self-centered in any of your strategies. This will only backfire.

How to Prepare for Your Link Building Campaign

So you’ve learned about the power of incoming links to boost your website visibility and now you want to start a link building campaign.

First, let’s just point out two different keys in link building. Link popularity is the measure of inbound links to your web site. Link analysis examines which sites are linking to you and the text of the link itself.

While building links may be cumbersome and time-consuming, the good news is that there are really many ways to go about doing it. The most important factor to tackle before you even start is the quality of your site. Make sure that your site looks professional and offers valuable information. It should also be user-friendly and easy to navigate. Make sure that you validate your HTML code and check to make sure that all of your site’s links are working. To do this, you can use one of the many tools that are available online. Why do you need to do this? First of all because any owner of a quality site that wants to link to yours will check to make sure your links are working. They will not want to link to a site that has broken links. Secondly, directories will not accept sites that have broken links or errors. If you’re going to be submitting your site to the directories, which you should be doing, you will need to have your links all up and running.

Here’s a crucial concept that many people leave out in their link building campaign. Budgeting your time. If you haven’t already budgeted out how much time you will spend on your link building activities, then do that now. If you don’t allot time to do this, it will not get done. The process of link building takes time. You start out very slowly and start increasing gradually. Over time, you can build up more links than you ever thought possible. Along these same lines, it helps to set some short-term, long-term and mid-term goals. When you first start out, a realistic goal would just be to get one link. This takes time. Once you’ve done that, set a goal for how many you want to get in a week or month. Next, you can have a good idea of how many you would like to have a year from your link building effort start date. And always remember to be patient–this takes time. You also want to make sure that you track your progress and stay organized so you know who is linking to you and who isn’t and who you’ve already asked to link to you and who you haven’t. Don’t be discouraged by a lot of “no’s in the beginning when you ask a company to link to you. This is just par for the course.

Finally, work on internal link building. The structure of your internal links plays into how well your link building campaign will do overall.

Incredibly Simple SEO Link Building Strategy

Link building is a crucial element when it comes to SEO (search engine optimization). A link building strategy gets you traffic to your site and greatly improves your search engine rankings. If you can obtain a link from another site to your site, this signals to the almighty search engines that you have something worth taking a look at. So, they move you up towards the front of the line, so to speak. The more links you get, the closer you get to the first page of search engine results when someone does a search for a relevant term. And once you are on that first page, you will start getting more traffic.

One of the best ways to get inbound links is to ensure that your site offers valuable information to your visitors or valuable reference pages that relate to your business or both. Once you have proven that you have quality content, other website owners will link to your site without you having to go out and ask them to do so.

Keep in mind that the highest quality links are those that are connected by a keyword or keyword phrase, not links that go from another site straight to your simple domain name. So, for example, if someone links from his site www.ABC.com to your site www.DEF.com, this counts for something. But not as much if the same person links the text “red apples” from an article in his site to your article on red apples within your site.

You can choose to do some outbound linking (you linking to another site) yourself in order to provide additional value to your readers and to inspire others to link back to you. This part also contributes to your link building strategy and is viewed upon well by the search engines. Don’t overdo it though. Just one or a couple of links per page will be fine.

You can also try link building services although it’s important to do your research first with these. If you choose the wrong service, it can get you penalized by the search engines. It’s easy to see why people do opt for these types of services–link building is a long, tedious process and hiring someone else to do the grunt work may be well worth the required fee. But it isn’t worth it if your site ends up going backwards instead of forwards in search engine ranking.

Although going out and seeking links is somewhat frowned upon, it works. And it’s a win-win situation if you come across a website that offers something of value to your target audience. It’s important to keep in mind that it’s not only the quantity but the quality of your links that will get you where you want to be. Also, the very best way to ensure that you will get links to your website is to create top quality content.

Priceless Link Building Tools for Your Business

Getting inbound links to your site is one of the most important aspects of effective SEO (search engine optimization) practice. Link building tools can make your life a lot easier when you’re trying to structure your site to make it favorable in the eyes of the search engines. Each tool offers different value but here are a few that can help you out.

The absolute best tool that I can recommend for getting hundreds if not thousands of high authority and high trust backlinks is an automated solution called SENuke X. Although SENuke X is still in Beta testing as of the time of this writing, you can pick up SENuke at the lower price now and be grandfathered into the SENuke X software as soon as testing is done. This is one tool I highly recommend!

Analysis tools can tell you how many links point to a specific page or domain and/or which anchor text is being used significantly or even too much. These types of tools can give you a quick, superficial look at the status of websites but you’ll need some others to perform a more in-depth analysis.

Search Status is a group of features offered in a single Firefox plugin. It can provide you with useful information, such as Google Toolbar PageRank, page- and domain links through the Yahoo Site Explorer, Whois information, Google’s cache of the page you’re visiting, an on-page link report and Archive.org. Another very useful trick that Search Status offers is the option to highlight all nofollow links which can definitely come in handy when you’re building links.

Another of the useful link building tools is Link Diagnosis. This exists as a web based tool and a Firefox plugin. This one is similar to the Yahoo Site Explorer except it attempts to filter out all low quality links, offers you a list of common anchor texts, and tries to show you a list with the most visited and popular pages of the domain you’re investigating. One great feature of Link Diagnosis is that you can download the data it provides you as a csv file extremely useful. Keep in mind when using this tool that an analysis of a larger site will take more time. A small site may only take a few seconds but a more content/page filled site could take up to 30 minutes.

If you need even more detailed data, you might want to look for tools that demonstrate link building efforts, structures and/or a history of the site. This kind of information can be helpful when you are trying to optimize your own website or that of a competitor.

SEOmoz’s Linkscape and MajesticSEO attempt to create the most complete index possible of the web for SEO purposes. Linkscape is considered more user-friendly while Majestic gets you a wider range of data which can also be downloaded.

Xenu’s Link Sleuth is another excellent tool for on-site analysis. It acts as a search engine crawler and checks websites for broken links and displays a continuously updated list of URLs, which you can sort by different criteria. Link Sleuth is a good way to get a look at your own website and to evaluate your internal link structure as well. And you can run reports on websites that you’re considering getting links from to see what holes they may have in their site that you could possibly fill.

There are many link building tools to choose from. Hopefully these can get you started on the right foot.

Backlinks For SEO

Search engines love websites that have other websites linking to them – backlinks. Such sites will be rewarded with better search engine rankings. The quality of a site is often indicated by the number of incoming links it has.

For example, if you have a website that is all about teaching kids math, then if the quality is good you’ll have people linking to your site in their articles and blogs. You can adapt that system to fit with your internet marketing plan.

How do you get more backlinks? That’s where the current generation of Web 2.0 sites comes into play. Sites like WordPress, Propeller and Associated Content allow website owners to upload their own content.

So, if you write some articles about how great your product or service is, then upload it to one of those sites with a link to your website, you have created a combination sales pitch/backlink.

Here’s an exercise: open up a new window in your web browser and go to Google. In the search bar type “link:yourwebsite.com” Don’t enter the quotes and replace yourwebsite.com with the address of your website.

The results will show how many sites are currently linking to yours.

Now try out the website name of a big player in your market. Odds are, you’ll find that they have a lot more links to their website than you do to yours, and their website probably shows up a lot higher in search results rankings than yours does as well.

Coincidence? Definitely not.

Here are a few quick tips for how to generate more backlinks to your site, and therefore a higher search engine ranking:

* Do you have more than one website? If so, then have them link to one another. This is a great way to get a new site off the ground if you already have an established site up and running.

* Upload content to Web 2.0 sites

* Create videos for your product or service and upload them to YouTube, Google Video, etc. It is really important to include a link to your site in the description or signature file!

* Check out an RSS aggregator. These are websites that compile articles and blogs into one place. Just about all of them allow you to include links in your Web 2 posts.0 sites.

Join the top internet marketers who get hundreds of backlinks to their site – SENuke the competition!

How to Get Free Traffic by Dominating Niche Keywords

I’m going to make this article straight and to the point, anyone who knows me knows how I hate writing articles, but since it’s the nature of the beast in this online world in which we live and do business, I guess I gotta grin and bear it! Oh, and I write like I talk so no pansy comments about how I misspelled yo momma or said gotta instead of got to! You want Free Traffic right? So let’s get to it!

I love the phrase “It goes without saying” because in the online marketing business there is no such thing! I’m going to spell it all out like I’m talking to my 7-year old son, if ya don’t get than there’s nothing I can do! First things first. You must have some sort of niche. A niche is a specific topic, like internet marketing, online dating, yada yada yada. There can be many sub-niche’s within, but you must have something picked out. Once you have your niche picked (that was fun to say, niche picked!) you need either a website or a blog. In my opinion, both work just as well with the exception that having your own site gives you more freedom and flexibility, but for this purpose, a blog works just fine. Grab yourself some articles, about 5-10 of them or write some content yourself. Get a good amount so you like like an authority. Got that? Good, let’s keep going!

For the purpose of an example, let’s use the niche ” Celebrity Wigs” Didn’t even know that was a niche, did ya? Well not only is it, but a very profitable one as well! Most wigs sell for an average of $300! That’s big money when you see what we can do! Ok, now go to Google’s Keyword Tool and type your niche in. In order to get the free traffic we need to be on Google first page. Sounds tough huh? You not listening to me! Our objective in the keyword search is to find low competition keywords with a decent amount of traffic. Anything with 1000 or more searches a month is pretty good, and keeping the competition under 50,000. If you can meet those 2 criteria your in business! There is more out there than you might imagine. At the time of this writing, I have found 7 keywords under celebrity wigs! The keyword “celebrity cute” is getting 5,400 monthly searches and only 22,000 competing sites! You can pretty much write one article and get listed for that! To find out how much competition there is, simply open another tab and Google that keyword with parenthesis around it. Continue to do this with as many phrases as you can think of that relates to your niche and build yourself a decent sized keyword list. Still with me? Moving on!

Where’s the Free Traffic? Hold on, I’m getting there! After you have your list, your going to want to join some social network sites. I thought about listing them here, but considering Onlywire has a huge list that you can use for Free I thought, Nah! Your also going to want a decent list of ping sites to ping your blog or website. WordPress blogs will automatically ping after each post but it only sends to ping-o-matic so here is a list to add to your wordpress blog or do do manually for other blogs or websites.

SOS Blog

There are more out there, but these ones have great pagerank and are all dofollow! What we are going to do is create a “linkwheel” where all these sites point back to our main site and are connected to it’s neighbor. This is a long and tedious process but automated junkies fear not for there is a way to automate all of this, I’ll explain at the end. Let’s call your main money site “Hub” and all the web 2.0 sites “Link”. Link 1 connects to Link 2 and the Hub. Link 2 connects to Link 3 and the Hub, and so forth and so on. The more web properties pointing back to your main money site the faster you’ll get to page 1!

Now we get to the part where it starts to get exciting! Pick 1 keyword from your list and make sure that each one of the web 2.0 properties you create has an article centered around that keyword and has it in the title AND in the url. Use that keyword as your hyperlink back to your site. Gosh, I really hope you guys are understanding what I’m talking about by hyperlinking because my hands are getting tired! For each link wheel, use at least 6 web 2.0 sites linked like we just said. Ping every one at each ping site. If you can, it really help a lot to social bookmark each one as well. Now here’s the kicker. Take one of those 6 web sites, and create another linkwheel with it, using it as the “Hub”. This is by far the longest part and can get quite tiresome, but remember I said there’s a way to automate it all, it’ll cost ya a couple of bucks but is well worth it! For those though that are like me when I started, don’t have a pot to piss in, you’ll have to do it manually but it will pay off!

So now we have a low competition keyword, wrote an article about it on our money site, created a link wheel around it, pinged and social bookmarked them all, and even though your probably sick of looking at your screen by now, there’s still something left to do. Think of a question with that keyword in it. Now go to these 3 sites and create 2 accounts at each.

answers.yahoo.com

wiki.answers.com

blurtit.com

This 3 sites have a Huge amount of authority. Simple enough strategy, ask the question with one account, answer it with a link back to your site with the other! Works like a dream, and sometimes you get ranked instantly! I’ve been shot to the 2nd or 3rd spots as soon as I hit submit!

That’s it in a nutshell I guess. I’m sure I left out some details but hopefully you get the gist of how it goes! Using this strategy has placed me on the first page of Google too many times to count, sometimes multiple spots in the top 5! Before I go I wanted to remind you of the automation tool I was telling you about, many of you probably already know of it or have, but it’s called SENuke. It not only automates everything I talked about above, but also so much more!

Some Traffic Generation Methods For Your Blog

Many people, especially the ones who run a business online, prefer to develop blogs rather than to build standard websites. This does not happen without reasons. A blog, for instance, provides various benefits that can be utilized to attract more traffic. Outlined in this article are a few methods you can apply to drive lots of visitors to your blogs.

First, you can submit the RSS of your blog to various RSS directories out there, including My Yahoo and Google’s Reader. This is also a great way to make search engine bots visit your blog. An automatic RSS submission tool like the ones provided by SENuke can help you do this easily.

Secondly,You can leave track backs on other blogs. This can improve your link popularity that in turn can draw in lots of visitors from search engines. Just make sure you do it on blogs that are truly related to your subject.

It is advisable to make more than one posts each day for each of your blogs. Do pinging every time you publish a fresh content. If you feel that it is very difficult for you to create articles of 400 words in length a day, just create short articles.

Another step you can take is to tag your blog posts. Think of tagging as assigning related keywords to a piece of information. By using this feature, you can get more visitors from social sites like Technorati.

Of course, other common methods to generate site traffic such as submitting articles to article directories, exchanging links with other website owners or utilizing forum signature can also be applied to your blog. Of course there are various other methods applicable to your blog to generate abundant site traffic, to list only a few: submitting articles to article directories, exchanging links with other wevbsite owners and utilysing forum signature.

In the end, keep in mind that there are a vast multitude of choices of traffic generation strategies you may put into use. You should not limit yourself to the above-outlined methods only. Be creative and you can expect to get much more visitors than other blog owners.

SEO – A Balancing Act

All website owners face a dilemma when trying to building a quality website, with good content, while at the same time ensuring that good search engine optimization results in traffic to their site.

The two are definitely not always interchangeable. You may be able to make a website that includes all the relevant keywords and backlinks to get it to the top of a search engine ranking, but if you have inserted those keywords at the cost of readability, then viewers will take a quick look at your site and then go elsewhere.

On the other hand, you may provide content that has your viewers glued to their screens for hours, but if you don’t have an optimized site, you won’t get many people to visit your page. So what’s the best way to balance them?

First of all, you probably want to err on the side of satisfying the viewers over the search engines. Of course, if your site is jam packed with keywords you might get more visitors, but if they don’t get quality once they are there, they will leave before even considering a purchase?

It is not making you any money.

So, if you design your website’s content with the viewer in mind, you may not have lots of viewers at first, but those viewers will be satisfied with the website and more likely to spend money or time with you, and return time and again.

Of course, this raises a issue.

How do you have a site that is search engine friendly and viewer friendly at the same time?

The first thing to do is to focus on a few specific keywords and use them often. For example, the page header for every one of the pages on your site should include your keywords. The key is to ensure that every word matters.

As an example, lets suppose that a keyword (phrase) is “good web design”. In this instance, you shouldn’t have content that talks about “web pages that get customers and look great.” It may be true, but you want to focus on your keywords.

This is a rough example, but if you look through the content on your website, you’re sure to find instances where this principle can be applied.

As welll, try to focus on just a few keywords. On the internet, it pays to have a site specializing in one specific segment, rather than trying to apply to a bunch of different keywords.

SEnuke X feature list + screenshots!

Hey guys,

I know, I know it’s way overdue, but development for this monster of a project took way longer than we had estimated. But we’re much closer to release now, so it’s time to release screen shots and the feature list!

I hope you get as excited as me, because this is really, truly, the most powerful one-click SEO automation available anywhere!

A simple step-by-step wizard will allow you to setup a complete SEnuke X campaign from scratch by answering a few simple questions. You will be able to define exactly how the different modules link together using a visual “link diagram editor” (with a randomize strategy button for newbies). This will build a campaign that is 100% automatic and scheduled. The various modules will all be chained together so that one starts as soon as the previous one finishes (or they can be scheduled for specific dates). Once a module finishes, all URLs generated can be pinged automatically, and then after pinging, all those pages can be sent to the “indexing module” which will make sure they get indexed in Google.

This is the complete equation, from A to Z. The result? Super-quick search engine rankings resulting in money in your pocket!

Now for the details…

SEnuke X has been completely re-written from scratch in a brand new technology. This has allowed us to do things that were technically impossible with the previous version of SEnuke. If you look at the image above, you’ll notice that it’s much cleaner, better looking and more organized. Notice how the projects are now all visible on one screen instead of having small separate project files for each project. They can also be organized by campaigns (just drag and drop from one campaign to another). Notice the 4 columns on the far right, these summarize the schedule for the project.. which brings me to the first major feature: scheduling…

Set it up once and take a trip to Hawaii and its gonna do everything on its own!

We’ve made it so simple to create and schedule projects that even your child can do it! The scheduler takes care of varying the number of sites that are submitted per day as well with the “distribute evenly” or “distribute randomly between 50% to 200%” options.

Let’s say you have 40 sites that you want to submit over a 4 day period. Choosing the first option will submit 10 sites a day exactly for 4 days. Choosing the second option will submit between 5-20 sites on day 1, 5-20 sites on day 2 etc.. and the remaining sites will be submitted on the last day of the schedule.

SEnuke now stays completely out of sight! Once you have it scheduled up, just close it and it will minimize to the system tray and all scheduled submissions will start automatically. Only thing you need to do is leave your computer on.

We’re trying very hard to make sure SEnuke X does not crash at all. But if it ever does, we have an “auto-resume after crash” capability built in. This means that you can be at ease while in Hawaii on your vacation, knowing that if SEnuke ever crashes, it will auto-resume from where it left off :) No more pulling your hair when waking up in the morning wondering what the heck happened to SEnuke at night.

Press release module

The most popular feature suggestion we’ve received is: add a press release module. And if SO many of you requested this, how could we say no? :)

It currently only contains a handful of press release sites but lots more are going to be added by the time SEnuke X is released!

Custom web 2.0 profile module

The power users will love this module, and it will soon grow to be the most powerful module in SEnuke. Tired of having to share sites with every other nuker? Well that’s no longer a problem!

It lets you create accounts and post to an unlimited number of targets! Currently it supports the SMF and Expression Engine platforms but many more will be added soon. All you need to do is scrape a list of sites that use these platforms and paste it in and press Start!

SEnuke X will auto-create accounts at these various platforms and even upload a profile picture for you! Then dropping your links on these profile pages is just another click.

Everything happens WITHOUT using the SEnuke Submitter Internet Explorer automation. It all happens multi-threaded in the background so it’s much much faster than using Internet Explorer automation!

If you have lots of projects saved in SEnuke right now, you know it can get messy. SEnuke X hopes to solve this problem by letting you assign projects to campaigns. Just drag-and-drop the project to the appropriate campaign and it’ll stay there. Now you can make sure there’s no overlap with the SEO projects you’re working on for your dentist and your veterinarian :)

Profiles Profile assignment

Say bye-bye to that clunky options screen. All your username and password combinations are now saved in “profiles”. These profiles can then easily be loaded into projects by assigning a profile to the appropriate project. (See second image).

URL list editor Changing output URL lists for modules Changing input URL list

Say adios to that clunky URL manager. SEnuke X now saves the URLs it generates into URL Lists. These URL lists can be assigned to various projects with the click of a button.

Another really powerful possibility with this is that you can link the various projects together.

For example: The URL list that the social network module writes to can be used as the input URL list for the social bookmark nuke (or any other module).

11. Detailed reporting of everything you’ve done.

Built in “log” keeps track of everything you do with the software along with everything that it does on it’s own so you know exactly what SEnuke is up to!

Tired of having to wait for the next update to SEnuke to get a site fixed? We’ve addressed that issue.

Every time you do a submission with SEnuke X, it will pull up a DLL for that specific site from our server, instead of having it saved in the software. This means that as soon as a site breaks, we can fix it on our end, and you will always be submitting using the latest code for each site!

You are no longer limited to running only one module at a time. If a social nuke is going on, you can start a social bookmark nuke at the same time! You can run as many modules as you want simultaneously because of the beautiful multi-threading built in.

The custom web 2.0 profile module that I mentioned earlier uses background submission technology that is multi-threaded, so it will be much faster than using Internet Explorer to submit!

More over, the batch-research module and the pinger have also been multi-threaded. So they are at least 10x as fast now!

We’re working on a solution to get every single one of the pages that SEnuke generates indexed automatically from within the software! Exciting, eh?

To accomplish this, we’re building a huge network of high PR autoblogs.

Once we’re done building that network, you can simply tell the indexing module which URL list you’d like indexed and press Start. Links to the various pages will be posted on our huge network of autoblogs and hopefully result in really quick indexing. But this project is huge on it’s own, so we’re not sure if it will be ready for the first release of SEnuke X, but it’s definitely in the works.

What if you wanted to setup SEnuke so that it would ping all the URLs generated by the social network module. How do you go about doing that? By chaining them together!

Not only can you schedule projects by date and time, you can also tell SEnuke X to start projects as soon as a previous one finishes! So queue up the pinger right after the social network module. And then right after the pinger, queue up the indexing module to get those pages indexed and voila!

SEnuke X can be intimidating. There are a plethora of modules and each module has so many features. So how do we shorten the learning curve? By adding a step-by-step wizard!

Our hope is that any newbie can pick up SEnuke X and not have to read a single help file to get started. Just one “Start here” button will guide them through the entire software!

While we don’t have a screenshot for this feature yet (it’s still in development), it will allow you to build diagrams like the one here:

Linking diagram

This will be part of the step-by-step wizard. You will be able to diagram exactly how you’d like the various modules connected to each other!

If you don’t know what strategy to diagram, there will be a “randomize strategy” button which will build a linking diagram for you! Each linking strategy will be slightly different each time you press that button, so there are no easy footprints for Google to catch!

What about all the URLs that you have saved in the old URL manager? What about the old profiles and projects you have saved? Good question! We’ve built in a one-click importer that will import all this easily!

I hope you’re with me now when I say: this will be worth the wait!

We’re not 100% sure yet and because of that we’re not going to make any promises that we can’t live up to (have done that before and I sincerely apologize for breaking them).
But since we’re releasing the beta to select members in early November, you have an idea of the progress of the software. The release date depends on how many bugs the beta testing team finds and how quickly we can fix them.

Possibly! But not for existing members! As long as you’re subscribed to SEnuke BEFORE SEnuke X is released, you can lock in the current rate of $127/month.

YES! We are NOT ignoring the current version of SEnuke. Updates to that will come out at least once a week and broken sites will be fixed regularly. If there are any bugs that you find, don’t wait for SEnuke X to solve them, let us know and we’ll fix them ASAP! The current version is working well for almost everyone and we plan on keeping it that way. If you got low success rates before, we’ve just hired a whole bunch of new programmers so the success rate of the software is much higher now! Give it another shot.

That’s about it for now. Please post any questions/comments in the box below :)
